My second guest is Avshie Shapira who I’ve been recommending everyone follow on Twitter. Avshie is a portfolio manager at Barak Capital, has been using real world ML for years as part of his capital markets strategy and has invested with me in several #legaltech startups — so even though he’s not a lawyer, he’s in the know about AI and AI for legal.

What we’re aiming to do in the 30 minute session is first have Avshie walk us through some of the basics about ChatGPT. Whether you are a beginner or have been researching ChatGPT extensively, this session will give you a strong basis in generative AI and what makes all this new stuff different from everything that came before it. Once we have that foundation, we’re going to turn to Wendy who is going to give us the GC’s perspective and how these trends are going to affect legal departments everywhere.
