How Are The Most Cutting Edge In-House Attorneys Thinking About AI?
Maybe the Best Podcast I've Recorded This Year (again!)
If you’re looking for some awesome content to take your mind off the election and disengage from repeated doomscrolling, have I got the podcast for you.
Hey there, I’m Zach Abramowitz and Legally Disrupted.
Today’s dose of disruption comes from the airport lounge en route to London for Legal Innovators UK, put on by my good friends Richard Tromans (you may know him as Artificial Lawyer, but I call him Richard) and Cosmonauts founder Timo Karkashev. If you’re going to be at the conference, let me know in the comments or, if you’re shy, you can reply directly to this email. I’ll be recording podcasts, judging startup pitches and speaking on the 7th about “Why Legaltech is So Back!”
But we gotta talk about this podcast.
When it comes to AI, Darth Vaughn and Whitney Stefko Dover are two of the most thoughtful in-house attorneys and were kind of enough to jam with American Arbitration Association CEO Bridget McCormack and me on the most recent episode of The AAAi Podcast. I’ll keep this simple: download the podcast and listen, you’ll thank me after.
Episode 7: Ford Motor Company AGC Darth Vaughn and Senior Counsel Whitney Stefko Dover
If you must, here’s a little teaser video.
This year I’ve been recording two podcasts: Legally Disrupted which I record on my own and The AAAi Podcast which I record together with Bridget. I’m really proud of the content on these podcasts, in particular The AAAi Podcast. I’ve worked on “sponsored” and/or corporate content in the past and came to the conclusion that it’s really difficult to get it right. Recording this podcast with Bridget changed my mind. Honestly, it might be better than Legally Disrupted (although parents shouldn’t play favorites). She and I have had great guests, discussed some of the most cutting edge trends in AI for legal as well as given a very informative peak behind the curtains about how the AAA (a nearly 100 year old company) is responding to one of the biggest paradigm shifts of our lifetime. Every time we’ve recorded an episode this year, I’ve said, “Okay, that was the best one we’ve done so far.” The episode with Darth and Whitney is no exception. Listening will give you an insight into how one of the most forward thinking legal departments is responding to the AI revolution. Both Darth and Whitney will reframe how you may have thought about AI’s impact on legal.
Btw, if you’ve been listening to and (more importantly) enjoying either of the two podcasts, let me know in the comments which episode this year was your favorite. I would also be very grateful if you took a few moments and left us a review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.
Election Day can be a real nail biter so make sure to stay disrupted — legally disrupted!
