Podcast Episode 3: Brainyacts Founder Josh Kubicki
What LLMs means for lawyers who want to start their own practice.
Hi there, disruption comes in three parts this Friday.
First, I tell you about the newest video podcast I’ve just recorded with Brainyacts founder Josh Kubicki. Then I tell you about my strategy launching a podcast and then, last, I remind you of the awesome thought leadership opportunity for in-house counsel that I posted earlier this weekhttps://www.legallydisrupted.com/p/be-a-guest-panelist-on-an-upcoming.
Zach Abramowitz is Legally Disrupted Episode 3
After the way-too-long-but-entertaining-cold-open and the even longer new Zach Abramowitz is Legally Disrupted theme song, my intro tells you everything about the conversation you need to know to get you hooked. But here’s the short and sweet of it: Kubicki knows his stuff about AI and LLMs and we go deep for an hour. You will come out on the other side knowing more about LLMs and understanding some of what you can be doing to equip yourself.
You can watch here on YouTube
or on X, “platformerly” known as Twitter.

You’re sitting around on a August Friday waiting till lunch finishes to dash. This convo is the perfect solution and you can even bill your time as “legal reading.”
Launching a Podcast
If you found my first three episodes clumsy and/or cringey, that means you watched! Thanks for that and I’d love to hear your feedback. I’m trying a bunch of things and some will be better than others. This pod’s gonna be huge though, so listening now is your chance to say you were there at the beginning. Right now, my primary goal is quantity over quality. I don’t think anyone listens to a podcast until they see that the host is planning on sticking around for a while. It’s a kind of audience hazing. The audience wants to see me commit before they do. They want to see skin in the game. My assumption is that the audience for these podcasts will be low until I hit episode 20 or so at which point people will realize that I’m really serious about this and I’ll start to see my audience numbers grow. I’ve already recorded podcast #4 with the founder of one of the biggest eDiscovery tech companies and that will drop next week. Interviews 5 and 6 have already been scheduled. Wish me luck!
Casting Call: In-House Counsel Who Want to Be a Guest on My Webinar
Earlier this week, I asked for nominations for in-house counsel who wanted to join my next webinar. Awesome submissions all around, I got over twenty suggested names and each one of them is great. Only thing, and I’m reticent to mention this, all of them were men. Every. Single. One.
Now, I got nothing against dudes. I’m a dude. BUT, for this particular topic which focuses on professional development and a purposeful life, I think we want to have a tad bit more diversity of perspective and not the dreaded “manel.” So, all you non-men, please get in touch if you’d like join this discussion.
