Why AR is a Ticking Timebomb for Lawyers
Augmented reality is becoming our reality faster than you think -- how should you prepare?
Look, I say this about ALL my webinars, but next week’s webinar about the advent of augmented reality — and what it means for lawyers is Not. To. Be. Missed.
If that’s good enough for you, go ahead and register here: Higher Bar Webinar Series | Legal & Augmented Reality: A Conversation with Expert Technologist Moshe Joshua
Here’s the background. My good friend and mad scientist Moshe Joshua reached out a while ago to me and told me about a manifesto he had written on AR. Moshe is a technologist and a serial entrepreneur, not a lawyer. But he claimed to me that lawyers were going to be a key part of the future of AR. I have to admit, I was skeptical. But I was also skeptical when Moshe told me about crypto more than half a decade ago.
So, we went on walk and Moshe (as he so often does) absolutely blew my mind. The takeaways were pretty straightforward:
AR is closer to becoming reality than any of us probably imagine
AR is going to create a whole host of legal issues (and opportunities)
The current laws on the books were simply not designed with AR in mind
Now, I’m hoping to recreate that conversation for you + give you access to Moshe’s treatise on AR, which I have to admit was much more of a page turner than I thought it would be. I mean, how often does any treatise qualify as a page turner? So, if you want to understand some of the real-life issues of a very real-augmented future + what it’s going to mean for the law, register for this webinar using this link: Higher Bar Webinar Series | Legal & Augmented Reality: A Conversation with Expert Technologist Moshe Joshua
If you’ve got a question and/or you would to like to ask or you have a strong opinion on AR, do me a favor and drop it here in the comments on this LinkedIn post.
Now that was FUN!
